Nobles and Ladies, It's April already, and time seems to be going by quickly! A few words about the Circus…Teri and I felt very Blessed to work beside such selfless hardworking Ladies and Nobles! Under the worst weather conditions in years, we pulled together to make it a successful Circus. THANK YOU !!! Just 2 days after the Circus, I went to two IHOP locations and again found Ladies and Nobles with smiling faces greeting IHOP patrons. Maybe it's the food, but you just can't keep Shriners away from showing off our Fraternity! I want to thank everyone involved with the Spring Ceremonial. We had a good time bringing some new Nobles and their Ladies into the Shrine. Please remember our biggest problem with membership is not making new members, it is keeping them. So please, at any Shrine function if you see anyone you don't know, act as host or hostess and introduce yourself and make them feel welcome. Dear Fellow Nobles: For some time now Shriners Hospitals for Children (“SHC”) has been working with the Department of Defense (“DOD”) in an effort to share our expertise to help the wounded warriors. For the last eight (8) months, Chairman Douglas Maxwell, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ken Guidera, Director of Research Dr. Ray Novak, and I have been laying that groundwork for the “building” plans to go forward.
